Bernarda Morales

She is a Bribri indigenous leader with more than 30 years in cultural management and development of community enterprises in Costa Rica, based on indigenous tourism and agro-ecological production. She is the founder of the Stibrawpa Association since 1992.

Bernarda has been recognized by officials and private entrepreneurs in her country for her community work in the conservation of forests, rivers and biodiversity in the area of La Amistad International Park, PILA; as well as for her efforts in the promotion of the Bribri culture and cosmovision.
