Enjoy a day of natural and cultural richness, get to know the Bribri traditions and the real taste of chocolate!
This tour will take you to the Bribri Indigenous Territory located in the tropical rainforest of Talamanca. The tour starts in the village of Bambú, where you will meet the local guide at a grocery store. In a dugout canoe you will be brought up the spectacular Yorkín river until the village of Yorkín.
After about one hour, arriving at Yorkín, we will walk through the village and see organic cacao and banana plantations on our way to the rural lodge of Stibrawpa. Once there, we will have a snack and visit the Tskui river and a hanging bridge, where we stop to bath in the refreshing water.







Back at the kitchen, we will share with you the story about the beginning of Stibrawpa. After that, we will enjoy a Bribri style lunch. For dessert, we will show you how we traditionally produce chocolate and you will eat organic bananas submerged in a freshly made chocolate sauce.
In The Afternoon, You Will Learn How To Use The Traditional Bow And Arrow And How To Weave The Leaves For A Traditional Roof. After These Incomparable Experiences, We Will Go Back To Bambú By Canoe.
